Description
Working ability alone is not enough if you are at Accenture Japan. You must be so devoted that even forgetting to sleep and eat. The most important thing is to be like a real man. Help your boss to relieve his worries, protect your subordinates, and do not forget your responsibilities no matter how hard the situation is; always remember to make time for your own woman; the learning of English should not be half done or half known, but thoroughly finished. And you can't be overconfidence. Of course, the person who can point your shortcomings must be the one who knows you best, which is your closest wife. “In the company of three, one always can find a teacher.” Never stop learning from excellent people to take nourishment; dare to be yourself; Just as “a nation cannot live one day without the king”, a leader needs to play his backbone role.
Although it has been 13 years since I retired from Accenture 13, I've always wanted to write my 32 years career into a book, sharing with you how I struggle to the top of Accenture Japan step by step. After countless failures, I have become one of the best in the competitive American enterprise, and looking back, it's a sweet and sour experience. Of course, thanks to the help of people around, I have always been able to devote myself till retirement. In Accenture, one’s work ability alone is not enough to keep him from being replaced.
Sometimes things that are past tend to be beautified, so I will pay special attention to this and try my best to write objectively. I would also be careful not to say anything I like. And if I failed to do it occasionally, you might feel a sense of self-praise. I will also be careful not to exaggerate. About the content of the book, I'm afraid some readers might doubt its authenticity, and wonder if I really am like what I written in the book. For this, I assure you everything here is true. After all, life could not be too dramatic.
So, I think you know a little bit about my job. Despite my hard work, I did a lot of other things. For example, I was in Junior Chamber; I once was dealing with women around me; and I learned to ski. Although the company was very strict, I tried to develop my own personal interests in private time. Of course, there were sleepless nights, tossing and turning, which was not the result of long hours’ working, but my love for the work.
Second, the book is not chronological. The following chapters are not necessarily chronological. Activities in Accenture and Junior Chamber had an overlap of eight years, but they are not put together in this book because what I did in the two groups was totally different. In addition, the heterosexual relationship here is too complex, and it is a nightlife category, so it is not put together with day life.
Finally, about the culture of Accenture, job content, and qualifications needed as an operator, they are not in accordance with time axis either, and I just put them in another chapter. The experience of learning single row pulley was very special and it is another chapter. The work and life after I left Accenture is also in another chapter. The work of Accenture was described from chapter 5 to chapter 8.
